What are our standard kayaks?
Our standard kayaks are simple recreational kayaks. They offer a stable and comfortable ride. These kayaks are light weight and easy to use and maneuver for a fun day on the water. Available in either sit in (cockpit) or sit on top styles. Sit in kayaks are preferred many during the early and late season when water and air temperatures are lower. You will typically stay drier in a sit in kayak. When in comes to fishing in a standard kayak, the sit insides will be the better option. Our sit on top kayaks are usually the most popular during the warmer months. Sit on top kayaks create more of an open concept/feel. They will allow your legs to get more sun exposure for that tan. Sit on kayaks are also typically easier to get in and out of. If you don't mind getting wet a little, or if you plan on getting out of your kayak several times to stop and explore or play in the water, then a sit on top might be best for you. This year's lineup of sit inside kayaks will have 375 pound weight capacity and will be a decent option for small scale packing for overnight trips. The sit on top kayaks have a 275 pound weight capacity. View the slideshow below to see our standard kayaks. Note: we have new kayaks arriving this year. The sit inside kayaks are going to be bigger and better than the ones we have pictured from previous years.
